The Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ is a church that embraces the Apostolic Doctrine.
Located in the Midwestern city of Peoria, Illinois, PCJC has long been an icon of Pentecostal worship in this city. PCJC is a part of the Illinois District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, one of the largest Pentecostal organizations worldwide.
Our Presiding Bishop, Dr. Horace E. Smith, pastor of the Apostolic Faith Church in Chicago, Illinois is the standing overseer of the organization. He is assisted by diocesan bishops, district elders, and pastors and ministers of individual congregations. Our diocese, the Illinois District Council, is comprised of churches from northern and central Illinois and is overseen by Bishop Charles E. Davis, pastor of the Indiana Avenue Pentecostal Church in Chicago, Illinois.
